Vincent is born of a brief but passionate German-Sicilian love affair in the early sixties. His mother’s vivid tales about his father Giuseppe, a Mafia lawyer in Messina, arouse intense curiosity in the young Vincent. The painful search for the father whom he has never known, leads him finally to reconciliation with his Sicilian heritage and with himself.
